Lignovations has developed a functional ingredient, called LignoGuard, from biomass to replace these harmful chemicals. LignoGuard consists of very small particles of lignin, a major component of plants similar to cellulose. The material enables many industries to increase the sustainability of their products, thereby accelerating the transition to a sustainable society and creating a healthier future for our planet and its inhabitants.
